The 2018 National Solid Defects Professional Committee Meeting and the National Solid Defects Symposium were held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, September 26-29, 2018. The meeting was organized by the Solid Defects Professional Committee of the Chinese Physical Society, and the State Key Experiment of Solid Microstructure Physics of Nanjing University. The conference was hosted by Academician Zhu Shining of Nanjing University and hosted by the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Nanchang University. The conference will discuss the latest research progress in the field of solid defects and inspect the construction of "first-class disciplines" in Nanchang University.
